Educator, community engager and process nerd Heather Osowiecki (she/her) combines her interests in business intelligence and culture-building to help co-create a more inclusive future through her role as Insights Consultant. Based in Florida, she also serves the public through her work on the Human Resources team at the City of Miami Beach, and was recently appointed to the board of Miamibloco, a socio-educational music nonprofit cultivating local pride and belonging through intergenerational samba percussion.
Heather brings years of applied experience to the Diaz Inclusion team, having previously fulfilled managerial, operations and artistic roles for orchestras, opera companies, choral ensembles and higher education institutions. As Director of Entrepreneurial Leadership for New World Symphony, she mentored current and future arts leaders and contributed to numerous internal culture initiatives, in addition to collaborating on the delivery of career development programs with the Sphinx Organization and Equity Arc, and serving as a research lab partner with the NEA. In 2024, she proudly made her debut with Seraphic Fire, South Florida's GRAMMY-nominated vocal ensemble.
Heather completed her undergraduate studies at the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York at Potsdam and received her Master of Business Administration degree in Managerial Leadership from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, in addition to ongoing studies towards certification in Data Analytics, Data Privacy and HR.
